SeaPort-e Prime Partner

A2B Tracking is a prime partner for Seaport Enhanced (SeaPort-e), the U.S. Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in numerous functional areas. A2B provides services in the areas of logistical support, supply and provisioning support, and In-service engineering, fleet introduction, installation and check-out support. The fundamental concept of serialized item management using the advanced machine-readable (barcode and RFID) technologies that A2B Tracking has developed and continues to refine, inherently aligns with the technology needed to produce the optimal outcomes Seaport-e customers expect to achieve in these areas.

A2B Tracking has been a leader in providing expert guidance in ongoing IUID and RFID policy and interpretation for the DFARs (Defense Acquisition Regulations System) and the DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency). A2B Tracking products are listed on the Government Services Administration (GSA) Advantage schedule. Listing on the GSA schedule involves a rigorous and lengthy process that includes determination of eligibility, past performance evaluation, registration with required organizations and determination of appropriate GSA schedule.

GSA Advantage is an online shopping and ordering service created within the GSA organization. Its mission is to provide a streamlined, efficient purchasing portal for federal agencies to acquire the goods and services needed. The purpose in creating this service was threefold. First to reduce the time, cost and bureaucracy in purchasing goods and services, second to insure the lowest possible price was obtained and third is to verify contractors are qualified to sell to the federal government.
