Enhances user visibility and productivity
PORTSMOUTH, RI (March 10, 2012) – A2B Tracking Solutions, the leading enterprise software and services provider in support of the US Department of Defense IUID (MIL STD 130) program is announcing release of UC! Web™v2.1. Product Manager Jim Daniels has indicated the primary focus of v2.1 is optimization of the product for larger tasks and more efficient processing.
To that end v2.1 allows users to process large orders simultaneously with ongoing activity. “A customer can now import large batches such as 10,000 UIDs while processing other jobs with UC! Web. That capability will greatly enhance overall productivity,” he said.
Another feature of v2.1 is the addition of assembly templates, which aid in the building of embedded hierarchies. With this feature a user who scans into an item hierarchy gains the visibility and direction to complete an assembly build. “This is a very powerful productivity tool,” said Daniels. “Users can see not only what parts are already in an embedded item, but what is missing in order for the build to be complete.”
Additional features of v2.1 include the ability to track asset information before UIIs are assigned or created and the ability to pre-set marks by part number.
