The National Property Management Association (NPMA) will host their annual conference on August 19 – Aug 22, 2019 in Washington, DC. The event is NPMA’s premier educational seminar for property professionals and government property managers from across the country.

Peter Collins will host a featured session with A2B Tracking Property Management Expert, Pat Jacklets to discuss Audit Readiness: Surving a DCMA Audit at this year’s NPMA NES Conference. Audit Readiness is a major initiative in 2019 for the Defense Department and with a new year of audits underway this is putting increased importance on financial, property and inventory data accuracy. Mr. Collins and Ms. Jacklets will address the question of how defense contractors and property managers can establish business systems to achieve audit readiness in 2019.

About Peter Collins

Mr. Collins has worked with many industries including manufacturing, logistics and the Department of Defense, on the development and deployment of cloud-based Asset Management systems and the implementation of Auto ID policies such as barcode and RFID. Collins lead the effort when United Parcel Service (UPS) contracted with A2B Tracking to develop the UPS Trackpad® parcel tracking system starting in the mid-90s.

As former Vice President of AIM (Automatic Identification and Mobility), he was a founding member of the AIT Alliance Committee. Collins has acted as Program Director, providing oversight of managerial support and execution for the massive, enterprise-wide Air Force part marking effort as well as similar projects for the US Army and Navy.

Collins received the ID Global Leadership Award in 2009 for his role in worldwide adoption of IUID. He has lead A2B Tracking to numerous awards for being among the top in Defense Technology and in Business Excellence. Collins holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
