The latest update to the UC! Web platform (Release 2.5.11) was integrated last month. It provides a significant suite of enhancements to improve asset tracking, stock tracking and capabilities to maintain government property compliance.
This major software update will provide increased capabilities for our government and military customers to track and manage assets to all FAR and DFARS requirements while expanding RFID and barcode asset tracking into any commercial environment. Smartphones and tablets can be used to perform many powerful functions such as locating specific assets with RFID, managing non-serialized stock and serialized assets from a secure cloud-based system.
Release Highlights Include:
- Improved capabilities for government property management and military compliance with additional capture and reporting fields to meet FAR 52.245-1. As well as improved alerts for iRAPT and IUID Registry submissions.
- Expanded Mobile Computing Device capabilities to include Android Smartphones and Android/Windows Tablets to perform numerous tasks such as searching for assets, performing physical inventories, edit asset details, commission assets, validate IUID labels and more.
- Enhanced RFID integration to improve automated capture of asset tags using both fixed and mobile RFID readers.
- Improved workflow and email alerts for expired warranty, low stock levels and calibration due.
- Expanded commercial asset tracking and stock tracking modules to address the needs of using RFID and barcode for automatic identification, tracking and reporting.
