IUID Compliance session

The IUID Compliance Session will be held on Monday, August 19th at the 2019 NPMA Conference. This featured presentation in the Government Property track will discuss the elements of maintaining compliance to the Defense Department’s important IUID Policy. Mr. Faria and Mr. Christmas will explain how the Department of Defense created the IUID Policy to establish standards for marking and labeling all equipment to ensure that every single item has a unique ID#.  IUID Compliance is a critical consideration for any organization that works with the DoD today.

This is sure to be a popular session as Defense Contractors that either deliver equipment to the Military or manage government property need to understand the details of MIL-STD-130, as well as the DFARS 252.211-7003 marking and 252.211-7007 reporting clauses. The IUID Policy clearly outlines how to properly identify, label and report government assets.
